Description

a painting 3'X4', Acrylic on Canvas. God is doing what I used to watch a lot of 1950s Cowboys do, shooting the gun out of the bad guy's hand - and of course, being God, he would already have worked out where the bullet would ricochet and where the apple would land. I suppose John Wayne was much the same. The pistol is a navy colt (nice to paint because of the multiplicity of gun metal colours), the same as Clint Eastwood's 'Outlaw Josey Wales' would have used, though he would have aimed for the body, showing the changing face of law enforcement by the 1970s.
